I only had time today to hear a sampling of about 3 - 4 songs driving home from installer. I have to agree with reviewer whom titled their review "WOW sound". Some Rush and some U2. I Just had four of these installed in my new Ford Edge (2009 model-and to anyone wondering the installer said they fit perfectly in front and back doors AND he was able to keep the tweeter in the front A Pillar operational - not sure how he did it,. but he did and it sounds great). When I listened to a couple tracks from 'how to dismantle,.' album I immediately heard some subtleties in the songs I never really noticed before. THAT is a testament to clear sound because I have listened to this album alot.So, like I said, have not had a real good listen (more than 10-15 minutes) but this first impression is very very good.
I was kind of confused but this order does come with two 6x8 speakers. they are great and i would recommend them. they fit my 94 ford ranger just fine.
Replaced rattling OEM speakers with these in my F250 superduty. Sound is much better. I'm using them with an after market radio that claims to be high power it is also better than the OEM radio. However I know I could get much better sound and volume with an amp even a small one.Pros: Good balance of value & qualityCons: noneI only gave 4 stars because I need to be really impressed to give anything a perfect score
I've been using these speakers for about a month now, and am impressed. I wasn't displeased with the speakers in my car, but thought these would really sound better than the cheap factory speakers. I guess. I bought these to replace the factory speakers in my 2000 Ford Taurus. Don't get me wrong, these speakers sound good, but not markedly better than the factory speakers. Also, you will have to buy a special connector to connect these if you don't want to solder or connect the speaker wires in some way.
I bought a set of these for the rear deck on my 2007 Ford Mustang. The other big selling factor to these speakers was that they were said to fit FOrd and Mazda vehicles directly. Pioneer has always delivered quality products and I have been using them as long as I have been driving. I am still impressed with this company. I have had other equipment that makes these same claims and been very let down however in this case they fit so well in the car that the original speakers fit back into the Pioneer boxes perfectly. Another happy customer delivered.
